Ralph W. Zurmuehlen, Sr. of Saint Charles, Missouri, passed away Saturday, October 27, 2018, at the age of 90. Beloved husband of Irma L. Zurmuehlen; beloved son of the late Frank and Eleanor Zurmuehlen; devoted father of Ralph Zurmuehlen, Jr. and Terry Ann (Tim) Czarnecki; cherished grandfather of Todd Czarnecki and Tara (Tim) Mcgrath; treasured great-grandfather of Morgan Czarnecki, Emma Mcgrath, Jackson Mcgrath, Oliver Czarnecki, and Evalynn Czarnecki; uncle, cousin, brother-in-law, and friend to many. Ralph is preceded in death by his brother, Charlie Zurmuehlen.
Ralph devoted time in World War II as a Supply Sergeant in the Army Air Corp. He was a member of the American Legion, O’Fallon #388 and Carpenters Local #1310. Ralph worked for both the Midwest Flooring Company and Missouri Flooring Company for many years. He was a true handyman and there was no job too big. He enjoyed wood working, boating and spending time with his family. He was a passionate father and loving grandfather who loved to joke around with his family. Ralph was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
