Randall Jon Griesenauer

Randall Jon Griesenauer, of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at the age of 73. He was the cherished son of the late Virginia and Omar Griesenauer; devoted father of Jacob (Shannon) Griesenauer, Kurt Griesenauer, and Luke Griesenauer; loving grandfather of Elizabeth, Jon, and Margaret Griesenauer; dear brother of Quentin (The late Sandra) Griesenauer, Claudia (Kenneth) King, Lori (David) Kliethermas, Amy (Joseph) Jezik, and the late Ronald Griesenauer; treasured brother-in-law of Deronnda Griesenauer; uncle, cousin, and friend to many.

Randy was proud to be born and raised in St. Charles, Missouri. He was a graduate of Duchesne High School’s Class of ’69, where he played football and baseball, and always loved the St. Charles community. He went on to graduate from Mizzou, where he was a member of Delta Upsilon, also becoming a lifelong fan of their sports. Randy had a successful career owning and operating Heartland Electronics for many years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton where he also assisted as their sports coordinator.

Randy had a passion for sports, which he passed on to his sons. You could often find him cheering or coaching his sons sporting events, finding him on the golf course with his buddies, or travelling to a new destination to cheer on his beloved teams, especially the St. Louis Rams and St. Louis Cardinals. In his free time, Randy cherished summer BBQs by his pool and time spent at the lake. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Memorials may be made in Randy 's name to the Mizzou Every True Tier NIL Fund or the Alzheimer's Association.
