Randall W. Woods, passed away February 16, 2022 at the age of 78. His loving wife of 55 years and their family was by his side.
Randall is survived by his wife, Lois Winona Woods, Son Keith (Tracy) Woods, daughter Christina (David) Woods, 4 grandchildren, Tyler (Courtney) Smith, Megan Smith, Katie Smith and Elisabeth Hayes. 5 great-grandchildren Hayden, Brynlee, Emma, Karizma and Kastyn.
He is preceded in death by his parents Joe and Ruby Woods and his siblings Ed Woods and Clarence Woods.
Randall served his country in Vietnam. He retired from Norfolk and Southern Railroad after 30+ years as a claim agent. Randall was a lifetime member of VFW post 5327 in Wentzville, MO. Randall enjoyed spending time with family, BBQ, golfing, telling stories, spending time outside when it was nice out, and he always had a project to work on.
Randall’s family was always his top priority. He was an amazing husband, father, grandpa, papa, friend and neighbor. Randall was an extraordinary, hardworking, loving and intelligent man. His country was very important to him, and he had a passion to always help other veterans in need. His smile was infectious.
He was loved immensely and will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made in Randall’s honor to AMVETS Post #106.
