Music was a big part of Raneta’s life. She loved everything from classical to Gospel and Praise Music. She began playing the piano at the age of our and became the Church pianist at a very young age. Raneta sang solos, but also sang with her father and sister in a trio on a regular basis at Calvary Baptist Church. She was active in Choir throughout High School. Raneta was infamous for breaking into song anytime, anywhere. Raneta’s heart was filled with the joy of the Lord and the joy was reflected in her songs of praise to her Redeemer. Raneta was an active member of the Harvester Church of the Nazarene where she was surrounded by many friends that she loved, supported and prayed for on a regular basis. Those friends were very, very dear to her. Raneta was always eager to share her love of the Lord and took many opportunities to pray with people to accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior. She will be very much missed by her family and friends. Her loving, sweet spirit, ready smile and beautiful sparkling blue eyes brought much happiness into all of our lives.
