Beloved husband of the late Mary Rose Mennemeier; loving father of Kathleen (Marion) Perica, Jerome (Charlotte) Mennemeier, Mark (Paula) Mennemeier, Robert (Leanne) Mennemeier, Frank (Debora) Mennemeier, Theresa (Roger) Burkemper, Lisa (Rick) Bampton, Bernard Mennemeier and the late Richard C. Mennemeier; dear brother of Paul, Victor, Charles and Albert Mennemeier, Bertha Griewing, Henrietta Cole, Eileen Mennemeier and Barbara Waidman; grandfather of 30 and great grandfather of 5. Mr. Mennemeier served in the U.S. Army from from 1942 to 1944. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, O'Fallon, MO and worked in the Civilian Conservation Corps in 1939.
