Raymond A. Hannon

Memorials may be made to the Kidney Foundation. HANNON, Raymond A., St. Charles, MO, died October 24, 2007 at the age 80; loving husband of Shirley M. Hannon; dear father of Patricia H. (James) Carrington, Raymond Michael Hannon, Kathleen M. Cavanaugh, Dennis J. (Donna J.) Werner, Michele E. (Mark) Judy, and Clay F. Richardson, Jr.; dear brother of David Hannon, the late Wilma Mary Scheck, the late Robert Hannon, and the late Judy Long; cherished grandfather of 16, and great-grandfather of 16. Mr. Hannon was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Betty Hannon. Mr. Hannon trained chimpanzees and elephants at Grants Farm, and worked with the mules at Anheuser-Busch. He was a champion boxer in the Navy and was also a truck and bus driver. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII; 1944-1946. He most recently worked as an insurance agent for National Life in St. Louis.
