Raymond Louis Belt

Raymond Louis “Ray” Belt, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Sunday, February 2, 2025, at the age of 81. Beloved husband of Ruth Ann Belt nee. Bauer; cherished son of the late Lucille Anna and Louis Herman Belt; devoted father of Christine Capps, Renee (Mark) Ottinger, Angela Belt, and Andrew Belt; loving grandfather of Alex Ottinger, Amanda Doyle, and Madelyn Belt; treasured great grandfather of Augustus Ottinger; dear brother-in-law of Gerard Bauer and Raymond Bauer.

Ray, an engineer at McDonnell Douglas and Spectrum IT, had a passion for fishing, St. Louis Cardinals baseball, and spending time with family and friends at their lake house. He also enjoyed football and basketball, always finding joy in sports, sudoku, and playing Phase 10 with Ruth Ann. Ray was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Memorials may be made in Ray’s name to the Humane Society.
