Raymond D. Crabtree

Raymond DeLain Crabtree peacefully entered into eternal rest on October 31, 2012 at age 92. Loving husband of Ruby L. Crabtree (nee Atchison) for 72 years. Beloved father of Juanita (Fred) Steinkuehler, dear grandfather of Christine (Richard) Ligman and Fred R. (Jane) Steinkuehler, dear great-grandfather of Jordan Ligman, Alex Ligman, Mitchell Steinkuehler and Riley Steinkuehler. Dear uncle and friend to many. Raymond was a valued employee of Matheny Heating and Cooling for 27 years. Raymond proudly served as First Scout in the Army Infantry 103rd Division during WWII. His unit saw action in France and Germany. Preceding in death by parents John and Sarah Crabtree (nee Riley), granddaughter Cheryl Lynn Levering, brothers George Jackson and Adam Crabtree, sisters Mattie Rasor and Elsie Sutton. Remembrance contributions to St. Louis Children's Hospital.
