Raymond E. Pearia Jr.

Raymond Edward Pearia, 79, of Paducah, KY, formerly of Saint Charles, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, September 21, 2021, at Mercy Health-Lourdes Hospital. Beloved husband of the late Barbara (nee Dowell) Pearia and his second wife, the late JoAnn (nee King) Pearia; cherished son of the late Raymond and Grace (nee Moore) Pearia. Devoted father of Kendra (Scott) Hutson, Jason (Lisa) Pearia, and Stephen Pearia; one stepdaughter and one stepson; loving grandfather of Justin Pearia, Emily Pearia, Madelyn Hutson, Aden Pearia, Nolan Hutson, and Mabrie Hutson; six step grandchildren; treasured step great-grandfather of five; dear brother of Ruthie Watts, Alice Gaines, Pat Peters, Theresa Steirs, the late Gerry Tustin, the late Mary Eatherton, the late Ree Cutright, and the late Harold Joe Pearia; brother-in-law of Sharon Pearia; and his beloved dog of sixteen years, Gabby.

Raymond was born in Saint Charles, Missouri on September 29, 1941. He worked as an iron worker with JS Alberici and was a member of the Iron Workers Union Local 396. Raymond had many things in his life that brought him joy; he grew tomatoes, was a member of the Knights of Columbus, and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. Raymond was happiest when he was surrounded by his children, grandchildren, and pets.

Memorials may be made in Raymond's name to Five Acres Animal Shelter.
