Raymond Edward Hummel, Sr.

Raymond Edward Hummel Sr., of Wentzville, MO, passed away Friday, May 25, 2018, at the age of 75. Loving husband of the late Eileen Frances Hummel; beloved son of Joseph Louise (Mills) Hummel; devoted father of Raymond Hummel Jr. and Scott (Jill) Hummel; cherished grandfather of Raymond Hummel, III, Sian Hummel, Devynn Hummel, Alyssa Hummel, Aaron Hummel, Drake Hummel, and Dava Hummel; dear brother of John Hummel, Tom (Angie) Hummel, Joyce (Gary) Williams, and Betty Hummel. Raymond is preceded in death by his sister, Jackie Wagner; and labradoodles, Buddy and Honey.

Raymond enjoyed the outdoors, and loved to go hunting and fishing.  His favorite fishing trip was to Cordova, Alaska with his buddies, where he brought home all the salmon he could catch.   He was a season ticket holder for St. Louis Blues hockey, Rams football, and Cardinals football. He also enjoyed watching the St. Louis Cardinals baseball.  Raymond was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
