Raymond "Joe" Joseph Harvey

Raymond “Joe” Joseph Harvey, of Troy, MO, passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at the age of 84. Beloved husband of over 57 years to Stella Harvey; cherished son of the late William and Marie Harvey; devoted father of Micki (Clay) Buxton, Bryan (Carlotta) Harvey and DeAnna (Andy) Zeisset; loving grandfather of twelve; treasured great-grandfather of nine; dear brother of Chuck Harvey; uncle to many nieces and nephews, cousin, and friend to many. Joe is also preceded in death by his son, Jason, and siblings, Oleta, Margaret, William, Jr., Fred, Talmadge, Gerald and Paul. 

 Joe dedicated many years to the U.S. Postal Service, retiring in 2003. He was an avid fisherman, he found joy casting his line at Bennett Springs and Lake of the Ozarks, where he spent countless peaceful moments. With a great sense of humor, he loved making others smile and laugh—whether by pulling a small trick, making a funny face, or simply sharing his good-natured spirit. He also enjoyed deer hunting with family and close friends. Many deer were pursued, some were got, but the deer never mattered as much as the friendships and the fun that was had. 

 A quiet yet deeply family-oriented man, Joe’s greatest joy was his loved ones. His life was filled with warmth, kindness, and just the right number of shenanigans to keep those around him entertained. Joe was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
