Raymond L. Hood

Hood, Raymond L. of Saint Charles, MO, died Friday, August 28, 2015, at the age of 89. Beloved husband of Gloria Hood; cherished son of the late Fenton and Thela Hood; devoted father of Terry (Shirley) Hood, Della (Kent) Ostendorf, James “Jim” (Lisa) Tooloose, Rita Tooloose, Colette (Dean) Ferrell, Jeff (Beth) Hood, and Phillip Hood; dear uncle of Sherry (Ralph) Murphy; loving grandfather of Shanon (Brian) Wahoff, Ensign Christopher (Lesleay) Hood, Brian (April) Ostendorf, Jennifer (Andrew) Dour, Kyle Allen, and Tyler Hood; treasured step-grandfather of Logan (Tiffany) Monroe and Dakota Monroe; cherished great-grandfather of 6 with one on the way; dear brother of Porter Hood (Paula Courtney) and Dean (Aizhen) Hood. Raymond was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia O’Leary-Tooloose- Hood, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Raymond served his country with the United States Navy during World War II. He was a member of the Plumbers & Pipefitters Local 562 for over 50 years. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
