Schmaltz; dear son of Leroy Schmaltz and the late Ceil Theiss (nee: Boyer); devoted father of Deborah Bradberry, Tony Schmaltz, Kelly Schmaltz, Lisa Vincent (James), Tracie Rohrbacher (Charlie), Michelle Shepherd (Keith), Wade Kustra and the late Brian and Renee Schmaltz; dear brother of Billy Schmaltz (Sharon), Kenneth Schmaltz (Carolyn), Sis Cooper (John), Peggy Findley (David), Jeannette Schmaltz and Leanne Horsfield (Bob); dear son-in-law of Rosa Lee Carolton; beloved grandfather of 18 and great-grandfather of 6. He was our beloved son-in-law, father, grandfather, brother-in-law, uncle, partner and friend. Mr. Schmaltz retired from the Brentwood Police Department. He was a Police Officer for 17 1/2 years and also worked for departments in Jennings and Webster Groves and served in the US Army 1960-1961.
