Raymond "Ray" L. Klingert of St. Peters, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at the age of 89. He is preceded in death by his wife, Irma Klingert; his parents, Raymond and Marie Klingert; and his sister, June Ridgway.
Ray is survived by his children, Renee L. (Doug) Willbrand, Diann (Jimmy) Cupp, and Brian N. (Vickii) Klingert; his grandchildren, Sarah Willbrand, Dustin Cupp, Kristy (Pat) Klingert, and Lori (Zac) Laramore; and his great-grandchildren, Ethan, Nathaniel, Aurora, and Haylianna.
Ray was a proud veteran of the US Navy and served aboard the USS McCoy Reynolds during the Korean War. He was a faithful parishioner of All Saints Catholic Church and was involved in several local organizations such as Operating Engineers #513, the VFW, and Teamsters Local 682. Above everything, he was a man devoted fully to his family who knew him affectionately as “Sonny.” He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Memorial contributions in Ray’s name may be made to
the Alzheimer’s Association.
