Raymond “Ray” Merrell

Raymond "Ray" Merrell, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Monday, May 28, 2018, at the age of 76. Loving husband of 54 years to Georgianna Merrell; devoted father of Tina Fruci and Tracy Merrell; dear brother of Gloria (Bertram) Mueller and brother-in-law of Bob Blanchard.   He is preceded in death by his parents Herman and Johanna Martin; sister, Patricia Thompson; brother, Kenneth Merrell; brother-in-law, Robert Thompson and sister-in-law’s Daretta Blanchard and Norma Gruver.

Ray was an avid bowler in his younger days and enjoyed playing golf with his friends.  He had an extensive music collection that he was very proud of and always jamming along.  Ray was a loving and kind father, very generous not only with his family but also with his friends.  He was also there to provide a helping hand to friends and neighbors with whatever they may need.  Ray will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
