Raymond “Red” R. Blase, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Thursday, June 9, 2022, at the age of 94. Beloved husband of Loraine M. Blase; devoted father of Stephen (Connie) Blase; loving grandfather of Meghan (Charles) Flynn, Brandon (Lacey) Blase, Allison (Jearmy) McCubbins and Ethan (Elizabeth) Blase; great-grandfather of Henry Flynn, Andrew Flynn, Nora Blase, Parker Blase, James McCubbins, Clara McCubbins and Waylon Blase. He is preceded in death by his brother, Harlan Blase, and his sister, Ruth Ann.
Red dedicated over 45 years to McDonnell Douglas. He was a member of the International Association of Machinist Teamsters Union. Red was a man of great faith and a member of St. Johns U.C.C where he drove the bus and took care of the lawn. Red loved spending time with his family, tipping back a few beers on many occasions with family and friends. He enjoyed boating on the river and Lake of the Ozarks. He liked tinkering with things around the house and could fix anything. In his spare time, he loved to watch western movies. Red was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Memorial contributions may be made in Red's name to St John's United Church of Christ Cemetery Perpetual Fund.
