Raymond V. ''Red'' Ahrens was born April 4, 1916 in Flint Hill Missouri to Dr. Leo Charles and Matilda Ahrens. His loving parents preceded him in death. Mr. Ahrens was a clerk for McDonnell Douglas in St. Charles for 15 years. He served in the United States military from 1945-1946. He is survived by his children, Kathleen A. McCarthy (Joseph) of St. Charles Missouri, Barbara A. Ahrens of Kirkwood Missouri, and Steven J. Ahrens (Sandra) of St. Charles Missouri, his grandchildren, Tim McCarthy (Susan) of Maplewood New Jersey, Brian McCarthy of St. Charles Missouri, Patrick Ahrens of St. Charles Missouri, and Kami Ahrens of St. Charles Missouri, one sister, Loretta Debrecht, and one brother Michael Ahrens.
