Rebecca Lowe Ingram

May 6, 1965 — February 23, 2018

Rebecca Lowe Ingram passed away after a courageous battle with cancer with family and friends by her side.  Rebecca is survived by Dave Kutey, her loving husband of 12 years. Rebecca was preceded in death by her parents Ken and Mary Lowe Ingram.  Rebecca was the dear sister of Craig (Anne) Ingram and sister-in-law of Tom (Sandy) Kutey and Greg (Janet) Kutey; loving aunt of Dakotah and Siobhan Ingram, Jack, Sammy, Luke, Jamie, Sydney and Kate Kutey; the beloved niece of Marty Downing and Janice Collings and is survived by many loving cousins and wonderful friends.

Rebecca was very dedicated to the professional advancement and education of those close to her often helping with resumes and advice on continuing education. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in bussiness administration from the University of Missouri Coloumbia and a Masters of Business Administration from Saint Louis University. She also earned many post - graduate certifications and accolades relating to human resources. She held roles in  Human Resources with Citigroup, and for the last 10 years serving as Vice President in charge of Human Resources at the Missouri Botanical Gardens.  Rebecca enjoyed her position at the Gardens immensely as she was surrounded by beauty and wonderful coworkers. Some of Rebecca’s favorite events at the Garden were the Japanese Festival and the Garden Glow that takes place around the holidays each year.

Rebecca and Dave loved to travel. Some of their favorite destinations include their most recent trip to Hawaii, their trips to Europe, Napa Valley, and ski trips to Colorado. Many of their trips involved attending Steely Dan concerts in cities all over the US, even a few times in Kansas City where they attended with family too.  They truly enjoyed spending weekends at their cabin in Aspenhof, kayaking on the lake, taking walks with their dogs Champ, Hershey and Rocket and just relaxing and enjoying their time together.

Rebecca was greatly loved and will certainly be remembered for her strength, positive outlook, her infectious smile and absolute zest for life.

Memorials may be made to Five Acres Animal Shelter or St. Charles Christian Church in Rebecca’s memory.
