Rebecca Miriam Thompson

Rebecca Miriam Thompson (nee Ahrens), of O'Fallon, MO, passed away Thursday, January 30, 2025, at the age of 67. Beloved wife of the late James "Jim" Thompson; cherished daughter of the late JoAnn and Eugene Ahrens; devoted mother of Elizabeth Thompson, Douglas "Doug" D. (Teri) Thompson, and Katie (Greg) Harris; loving grandmother of Adalyn Thompson, Reese Thompson, Marlee Thompson, Emme Thompson, Augustus Harris, Alexander Harris, Ashlynn Harris, and Aiden Harris; dear sister of Blake (Denice) Ahrens; and treasured aunt/Godmother of Rachel (Aaron) Kerwood.

Rebecca, a graduate of Southeast Missouri State, was a strong woman of faith and an active member of Dardenne Presbyterian Church. Her deep love for reading led her to become a librarian, and she was also a passionate history and trivia enthusiast. She cherished spending time with her husband and traveling with her family, always bringing warmth and kindness to those around her. A sweet and warm-hearted woman, Rebecca was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
