Renata K. Swanson

Renata K. Swanson (nee Buechler), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Friday, September 28, 2018, at the age of 89. Beloved daughter of the late Fred B. and Katherina Buechler; devoted mother of Mark (Susan) Swanson; cherished grandmother of Michael (Katie) Swanson, and April (Tim) Sweeso; treasured great-grandmother of Nolan, Addison, Max, and Emma; and dear sister of Eleonora B. Brewton, LeRoy Buechler, and Irene Rader. Renata is preceded in death by her three brothers, Emil Buechler, Milton Buechler, Ruben Buechler; and two sisters, Irma Leidholt and Delores Schaible.

Raised on the family farm in Bowdle, SD, Renata was never one to shy away from hard work.  A devoted mother, her life was dedicated to raising her son Mark.  She brought laughter to all, and her sense of humor shone through to the end.  She was quick to tell everyone about her wonderful grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Her strength and determination were outdone only by her love of family. Renata was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
