Renee A. Simon

Renee A. Simon, (nee: Grasser) of Portage des Sioux, MO, passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at the age of 59. Renee is preceded in death by mother, Billie L. Grasser; father and mother-in-law, John F. and Ethel A. Simon.

Beloved wife of John J. Simon; cherished daughter of Frank Grasser; devoted mother of Adam J. (Rachel) Simon; Amanda R. (Nick) Valenzuela and Erin R. (Justin) Weber; loving grandmother of Annabelle, Hayes, Jack and Lucas; dear sister of Tim (Tierney) Grasser, Terri (Robert) Williams; Renee was a loving sister-in-law, aunt, cousin, friend and second mom to many. Her grandchildren were the light of her life.

John and Renee were married for 37 wonderful years, they were born three days apart and journeyed through life together. She graduated from Duchesne High School and lived her entire life in Portage des Sioux, Missouri. She loved spending time with her family and friends, whether it was traveling, vacationing at the Lake of the Ozarks, or playing a game of Bunco. Renee would never say no to anyone. She volunteered at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Renee worked at Bi-State Fire Protection for nineteen years and was an owner of Simon Crane Service.

Renee was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
