Renee Burman

Renee Viviane Burman of Chesterfield, MO, passed away at the age of 96 on Monday, May 24, 2021. Loving wife of the late Allan Burman; beloved daughter of the late Jacob and Alice Klelifa; devoted mother of Jean (Cathy) Burman, Paul (Patty) Burman, and Jeffrey L. Burman and the late N. Monique Burman; cherished grandmother of Cory Burman, Kelly Lynch, Casey Dunscombe, Annie Tobin-Bartlow, Cynthia Burman, and Jeffrey P. Burman; and great grandmother to six. Renee was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.

Renee was born in Oran, Algeria where she met and married Allan while he was serving in WWII.   They later came to the US and lived in many  places while raising their family.  She spoke many languages and belonged to the French Society of St. Louis.  Renee always enjoyed spending time with her family and keeping in touch with her relatives who live in France. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Memorial contributions in Renee’s name may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
