Reta J. Payton

Payton, Reta, of St. Peters, Missouri, died on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at the age of 75. Loving wife of Herbert Payton for almost 58 years; beloved daughter of the late Oral and Vera Johnson (nee: Moore); devoted mother of Lisa (Steven) Berry and Lorri (Paul/Monte) Joplin; cherished grandmother of Dallas Joplin, Crystal (Daniel) Geis, Rachel (Bryan) Pontious, Lane Joplin and McKenzie Joplin; dear sister of Igeana (Bob) Yates, Charles (Penny) Johnson, O. Edward (Gail) Johnson, Thresia (Bob) Brinkley and Wanda (Bob) McNees. She is loved by many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Reta is preceded in death by her step-mother, Laverta Johnson (nee: Raymer). Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.
