Rev. Robert N. “Pastor Bob” Thompson

Rev. Robert N. "Pastor Bob" Thompson, of Lake St. Louis, MO, passed away Sunday, March 21, 2021 at the age of 91. Loving husband for over 69 years to the late Nelda G. Thompson; beloved son of the late Robert B. and Nellie Thompson; devoted father of Donald L. Thompson, Nancy (Nelson) Eagle and the late, Kathe Miloni; cherished grandfather of Meghan Hurst, Nick Thompson, Cameron (Tory) Fisher, Kate Thompson; treasured great-grandfather of Mason & Brody Hurst, Tanner Hurst, and Cooper Fisher; beloved uncle, great uncle, and friend to many. Bob is preceded in death by his siblings, Donald Thompson, Norma Thompson, and James Thompson.

Pastor Bob dedicated his life to serving Our Lord in Ministry for 70 years before retiring. He served as Senior Pastor at First Baptist Church, Lake St. Louis, for 11 years, and as Pastor Emeritus for 19 years. He was a 55-year member of Kiwanis International and a member of Lake St. Louis Ambassadors for many years. Pastor Bob served as Police Chaplain for the Lake St. Louis Police Department for 30 years. He proudly served our country in the United States Air Force and served as Chaplain during the Korean War. Pastor Bob was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Memorials may be made in Robert's name to First Baptist Church Lake Saint Louis Missouri.
