Richard A. Konrad

KONRAD, Richard A., Wentzville, MO, October 23, 2007 age 68; survived by former wife of 42 years, Patricia Konrad; dearest father of Carolyn (Craig) Pelton, Steve Konrad, Connie Byrne and Cathie Konrad; beloved grandfather of Jason and Ashley Pelton, Danielle and Gavin Byrne and Sean Konrad; preceded in death by his parents, Gus and Edna Konrad, sister, Joyce Evola and granddaughter, Nicole Pelton. Mr. Konrad was General Contractor in Construction for 45 years and owner of Konrad Builders, Inc., St. Louis, MO. He was active in Surrey Lane Athletic Association 1969-1979; Area Chairman-Manager and Coach of many teams; he enjoyed dancing, golf, hunting and fishing. He was an avid outdoorsman receiving numerous acknowledgements from Missouri Conservation for his dedication to Wildlife Preservation. Mr. Konrad attended Baden Elementary, Beaumont High School and Ranken Trade School. He was a loyal, highly respected member of the Carpenter's Local #47. Mr. Konrad also served in the US Army 1959 – 1965.
