Richard Arthur Krueger of Saint Louis, MO, passed away at the age of 77 on Saturday, December 5, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Rita Krueger.
Richard is survived by his daughter, Connie (Chris) McDonald; his grandchildren, Torie (Brendan Magruder) Greer and Emily Greer; his sister, Karen (Norm) Laurent; his nephew, Dave (Tracie Crady) King; and his cousins and many dear friends.
Richard was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force and once served as the president of the St. Louis-area Veteran’s Consortium. His efforts assisted with the restoration of the Soldiers Memorial History Museum in downtown St. Louis. He had a giving, compassionate heart and was always ready to help anyone. He would often volunteer his time and talents in assisting and advocating for homeless veterans. In addition, he spearheaded establishment of community gardens in areas of food insecurity. Richard will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
