Richard B. Buchanan

Richard B. Buchanan, of Lake St. Louis, Missouri, died on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at the age of 83. Loving husband of the late Barbara Buchanan; dear son of the late Robert B. and Estella Buchanan; devoted father of Sherri (Bob) Campbell, Jan (John) Gonzales, Robin (Tom) Lucas, Wendy (Larry) Brooks, Rick Buchanan, and the late Frankie Brennan; cherished grandfather of Kelly and Tracy Campbell, Shannon (Jerrod) Robertson, Ryan (Alison) Miller, Molly (Buckley) Parks, Nick and Ben Gonzales, Kaelan, Anice and Teagan Lucas, Josh (Kelly), Jared and Kacie Brooks, and Blake Buchanan; beloved great-grandfather of Landon and McKenna Miller, and Brevin Parks; dear brother of Gerry (Bob) Atkins and Charlie Bob (Joan) Buchanan; Richard is also survived by 6 nieces and nephews, and numerous great-nieces and nephews. He had distinguished careers with McGraw Hill Book Company, AAA Travel Agency and Dardenne Presbyterian Church. He took a sincere interest in everyone he met and made them feel as though they were special and valued the opportunity to spend time with them. Dearly loved by many, his spirit and love will love on forever. Memorials may be made to Coins for Carpet through Dardenne Presbyterian Church.
