Richard Baur
March 8, 1939 — November 10, 2021
Richard “Dick” Baur, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at the age of 82. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy Ann Baur; cherished son of the late Henry Baur; devoted father of Rick (Laura) Baur, John (Erinn) Baur, Mary Baur and Patty Baur; loving grandfather of Matt Baur, Ally Baur, Donnie Davidson and the late Zachary Baur; dear brother of Theresa Mathis, Christine Baur, the late Glen Baur and the late Mark Baur.
Dick proudly and honorably served in the United States Army. He retired from Boeing where he worked for over 35 years. He generously volunteered his time at his church and at Guide Dogs of America. He loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. He had a great work ethic and worked hard to make sure that his family had the best life they could. He enjoyed watching sports, grilling, and a good Manhattan. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital.
