Richard Carl Sexton, of Troy, MO, passed away Friday, September 20, 2019 at the age of 73.
Beloved husband of Karin Sexton; cherished son of the late Rev. Carl and Marcella Sexton; devoted father of Tara (Michael) Bishop and Carla (Walter) Sanderson; loving grandfather of Ashley Redditt, Tyrah and Keira; beloved step-grandfather of Emily Sanderson, Jerrid Bishop and Jessica Bishop; treasured great-grandfather of Haydn; dear brother of Carolyn Thomas, Vernon Sexton, Robin Brownlee, Howard Sexton and Jerrie Murphy.
Richard proudly and honorably served in the United States Marine Corps. After serving in the military, Richard was a Truck Driver for O’Neil Lumber and Millwork for almost 30 years. He was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Richard enjoyed spending time with family and sharing stories. He could make anyone laugh. Richard is dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
