Richard D. Powell I

Powell I, Richard D. of Lake Saint Louis, MO, died on Saturday, April 4, 2015, at the age of 67. Loving husband of Tina Powell; beloved son of the late Jerome Leslie and Catherine Joann Powell; devoted father of Rich (Laura) Powell II and Chris (Kelly) Powell; cherished grandfather of Rich Powell III, Conrad Powell, Madeline Powell, William Powell and Alexandra Powell; dear half-brother of Joseph Klimas, and brother of Estella Bernhard; beloved uncle of Keith Klimas and family, Guy Joe Klimas and Family, Jackie Moses and Family, Sherry Youngs, Paige Rogers and Family, and Paul Rogers and Family. He was also a dear cousin and friend to many. Richard is preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law Melvin and Imogene Jarvis, half-brother Kenny Klimas, and brother-in-law and sister-in-law Richard (Tommye) Rogers.
Richard was a member of the American Legion Post 1000 in Kansas City. He cherished his trips to Disney with his family, and loved Cardinal Baseball. Richard will be dearly missed.
