Richard Donahue

Richard Donahue, of Kirkwood, MO, passed away Thursday, December 2, 2021 at the age of 93. Loving husband of the late Betty Donahue; beloved son of the late Joseph and Hilda Donahue; devoted and cherished father of Dona (Gaylon) Patterson; grandfather of Heather, Jennifer, Beverly, Leslie, and Justin; great-grandfather of Jaxon, Hollander, Robert, Gaylon, and Wynona; dear brother of Eileen Jackson and Pat Irvin; loving relative and friend to many. Richard is also preceded in death by his son, Michael Donahue; siblings, Jim, Joe, Betty, and Jack.

Richard grew up in Kirkwood, Missouri. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Richard and his wife Betty were married for a loving 37 years before her passing. He was a hard worker, working all his life providing for his family. Richard loved his family dearly. Richard had a unique sense of humor. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
