Richard G. Overman

Richard G. Overman of Wentzville, MO, passed away on Monday, June 15, 2015, at the age of 81. Dick was the beloved husband of Loretta Hodges Overman; cherished son of the late Bernard and Rosemary Wahl Overman; devoted father of Margaret (Henry) Loeffler, Donna Long, Mary (Patrick) Devine, Joseph (Katie) Overman, the late Sharon K. Overman, and the late David Thomas Overman; loving grandfather of Jesse (Lauren) Loeffler, Thomas Loeffler, Shayla (William) Cule, Josiah Long, Rachel and Rebekah Long, Hannah Patterson, Ashleigh Devine, Quinn Devine, Kaidyn Devine, Lana Overman, Isabelle Overman, Melissa Overman, and David Overman; and dear brother of William (Connie) Overman and the late Virginia Hollensbe. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Dick was a veteran of the United States Air Force, who proudly served his country during the Korean War. He was a building mechanic for McDonnell Douglas/Boeing for over 30 years, before retiring in 1998. His hobbies included fishing, hunting, camping, gardening and woodworking. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
