Richard L. Grant

Richard “Rich” L. Grant of O’Fallon, MO, died on, Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at the age of 87. Loving husband of the late Mary Grant; devoted father of the late Shelley Hussey, Sherry (Mike) Newton and Diane (Jeff) Orcino; cherished grandfather of Jason Hussey, Sarah Gadiane, Stephanie Hussey, Matt (Chrissy) Orcino, Nick (Janice) Orcino, Madison (Lucas) Jordan, and Cody Newton; treasured great-grandfather of Skyler, Gregory, Shaelynn, Ryelynn, and baby girl on the way, Mallarie, Briana, Jack, Brady and Anthony. Rich is preceded in death by his parents and siblings. He is also a dear uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Rich was a hardworking father who dedicated over 45 years at Barry-Wehmiller, holding many positions and working his way up to Superintendent. He was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Rich, family, and close friends created the 6 Pack Boat Club where you could find him on his boat, Bud Light in hand, having a good time on the Mississippi river with family. This is how he instilled his love of the river and family to his daughters. Rich and Mary loved the friends they made over time through dancing, sports, and the many activities they did while enjoying libations. They truly lived life to the fullest. Overall, family was the most important and they cherished the many memories together. Rich was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Rich's name to St. Jude Children's Research or Faith Haven House.
