Richard "Dick" W. Huber, of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Friday, March 17, 2023 at the age of 94. Loving husband of the late Irene Huber; beloved son of the late Charles and Grace Huber; devoted father of Karen (Mark) Cooper and Rick A. Huber; beloved brother of the late Bill, Frank, and Eddie Huber; cherished grandfather of Heather (Ezekiel) Simmons, and Tiffany Ekeh; treasured great-grandfather of Avyanna, Ezekiel Jr., and Zaveon Simmons; dear uncle of Brenda (the late Larry) Walton and a host of other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Dick was married to his wife Irene for 59 loving years before her passing in May 2010. Together they enjoyed spending time with family and friends, church activities, vacation travel, and listening to music.

Dick faithfully served The Lord Jesus Christ at Tower Grove Baptist Church for over 56 years and later at Fee Fee Baptist Church.

Dick enjoyed photography and making pictures in his earlier days. He loved to spend his time fishing, taking care of flowers in the yard, bird watching, and reading. Dick enjoyed the St. Louis Area and had memberships at St. Louis Zoo, Missouri Botanical Gardens, and St. Louis Science Center. Friends and family enjoyed visits to these area attractions with him.

Dick proudly served his country in the United States Navy, after his honorable discharge, he completed electrical training at Rankin Technical School in St. Louis. Dick served as an electrician for the St. Louis Public Schools for over 27 years, retiring in June 1996. He was a former member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 1, St. Louis.

Dick was dearly loved will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

The family would like to express our thanks for the wonderful care and assistance by Villages of St. Peters Staff, Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital and Caris Hospice.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to Tower Grove Church, St. Louis, MO  63110, Fee Fee Baptist Church, Bridgeton, MO 63044 or a charity of your choice.
