Richard "Rick" Gantney, of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Saturday, September 19, 2009 at the age of 64. Loving husband of Alma Delena Gantney (nee: Nelson); dear son of John B. (Shirley) Gantney and Marlys S. Gantney; devoted father of Tania Sannipoli, Angie (Keith) St. Gemme, and the late Jason Gantney; cherished grandfather of Christopher, Savannah, Dustin, Celeste, Christin, Cayli, and Cymber; dear brother of Terry (Kathy) Gantney and Ruth (JR Phillips) Gantney; and dear uncle to many nieces and nephews and many friends. Richard retired last October from St. Elizabeth's Academy where he was a Maintenance Supervisor for 30 years. He was a fan of NASCAR, enjoyed spending time at the river, and was a member of the Moose Lodge 1513.
