Richard Joseph Welz

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association. Welz, Jr., Richard "Rick", of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Sunday, September 7, 2008 at the age of 53. Dearest husband of Mary Ann Welz; dear son of the late Richard Joseph Welz, Sr. and the late Joan M. Welz; devoted father of Lisa Ann Douglas, Ryan Joseph (Rita) Welz and Austin Jacob-Lee Welz; beloved grandfather of Kirstin, Kelsey, Savanna and Ryan, Jr.; dear brother of Barbara (Michael) Gray, Kim Homann, and Daniel (Debbie) Welz; dear brother-in-law of Jeffrey Frederick and dear son-in-law of Debbie (and the late Marvin) Frederick. He was our dearest uncle and cherished friend to many. Rick was employed as an Assistant Parts Manager at Pundmann Ford, was a member of the St. Charles Mens Bowling Association; a car enthusiast, NASCAR and anything with a motor got his attention! He truly enjoyed his family.
