Richard Koch

Richard Wayne Koch of O'Fallon, MO, passed away Saturday, December 30th, at the age of 86.

Beloved husband of the late Dorothy Mae Koch (Eusterbrock); cherished son of the late William and Leona Koch; devoted father of Tom (Jeannie) Koch; Joann (Keith) Gililland; Lisa (Thomas) Ward; Debbie (Alan) Hoff; Susan (of the late Jim) Chiles; Kim (Jason) Siller; Karen (Mike) Oakley; cherished grandfather of 19 and great grandfather of 15; dear brother of James C. Koch. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; William and Leona Koch; Brothers George Koch; William Koch; John Koch, sisters Rita Overfelt; Catherine VanDeGenachte; Mary Downs; Maragret Murphy; and Shirley Benny; Son-in-Law Jim Chiles and grandson Dallas Oakley.

Rich proudly served his country in the United Stated Navy as an Electrician. He was a long-time member of St. Barnabas Catholic Church. He was blessed with 61 years of marriage to the love of his life Dorothy, whom he adored. Rich worked at Monsanto/Memc for 32 years & did secondary work to support the needs of his family. Upon retirement from MEMC, he was a Real Estate appraiser for several years. He loved his family dearly and was very dedicated. Rich's hobbies included fishing and boating at The Lake of the Ozarks, happy hours, gambling and parish picnics. He also enjoyed watching Cardinals Baseball and Football.

He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
