Richard M. Painter

Richard M. Painter, of O Fallon, MO, passed away Monday, June 7, 2021 at the age of 76. Beloved husband of the late Kathleen Painter; cherished son of the late Ralph and Mildred Painter; devoted father of Eric (Julie) Painter and Jennifer (James) Ketcherside; loving grandfather of Avery Painter, Claire Painter, Madison Painter, Michelle Podesva-Ketcherside, and Lukas Ketcherside; dear brother of Ruth Ann Newman and the late Thomas Painter.

Richard proudly and honorably served in the United States Army. He dedicated 35 years at Southwestern Bell where he worked as an electrician. Richard had a passion for music and enjoyed singing in the choir at New Hope United Methodist. In his free time, Richard enjoyed listening to music, discussing antique cars, and watching his favorite show or movie on TV. Richard was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Memorials may be made in Richard's name to Multiple Sclerosis Association of America.
