Richard A. McGee

Richard Anthony McGee, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Monday, August 12, 2024, at the age of 84. Beloved husband of the late Carol Ann McGee; cherished son of the late Bill and Margaret McGee. Devoted father of Karen (Allen) Scott, Mike McGee, and Brenda (Robert) Noah; loving grandfather of Nick (Morgan), Ashley (Ali), Nathan, Nicolette, Jory, and Alina; treasured great-grandfather of Landon, Colin, and Kinsley; dear brother of Billy (Diane) Michael McGee; brother-in-law of Mary (the late Jerry) Brooks and Barbara Langston; many nieces and nephews. 

Richard served honorably in the United States Air Force for four years, stationed in Topeka, Kansas. Known for his strong work ethic, he successfully ran multiple businesses. He cherished his time on the golf course alongside his father and son, and he was a devoted husband to his wife. Richard found immense joy at their lake house, where he loved boating, swimming, and fishing. Having visited the Lake of the Ozarks as a child, he held those memories close and aimed to create similar experiences for his family. The lake was a source of pride for him, where he relished the outdoors, gardening, and watching birds—often crafting birdhouses. Together with his wife, Carol, they traveled extensively, fulfilling their dreams and desires. Richard had a passion for airplanes and enjoyed watching them take off. Richard was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. 

Memorials may be made in Richard's name to Alzheimer's Association.
