Beloved husband of Justine Houser (nee Barbour); cherished son of the late Thomas and Ruth Houser; devoted father of John Houser, Vicki Chambless, Lisa Matejcic, Ken Houser, Ted (Jennifer) Houser, and Matthew (Wendy) Houser; loving grandfather of Jennifer Chambless, Katie Chambless, Suzanne Chambless, Megan Matejcic, Rebecca Matejcic, Jessie Collie, Jeffrey Collie, Amber Collie, Autumn Houser, Rachel Houser, Elyssa Houser, and Lilly Houser; treasured great-grandfather of Anthony Chambless, Jonah Collie, Silas Collie, and Saxton Collie; dear brother of Harry (Jo Ann) Houser, Dan Houser, Margaret (Robert) Behrens, Pamela Markenson, the late Patricia Kebsch, and the late Thomas Houser; and loving uncle of 9 nephews and 3 nieces.
Richard was a member of the Knights of Columbus – St. Charles Council 823. He was also a member and the Past President of Woodson Terrace Lions Club. He was dearly loved, and will be missed by all who knew him.
