Richard W. "Dick" Rose

Richard W. “Dick” Rose, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at the age of 85. Loving husband of the late Karen Rae Rose; beloved son of the late Charles and Agnes Rose; devoted father of Andrea Rose; stepfather of Merrytt (Ronald) Dell, Michelle (Charlie) Hillemann, and Melissa (Chris) Felmlee; cherished grandfather of Justin Rose, Jasmine Spates, Kayla Spates, Samantha Spates, Bradley Spates, Brianna Spates, Jessica (Nathan) Dalton, Nicholas (Jennifer) Dell, Daulton (Miranda) Hillemann, Megan Hillemann, Ashlyn (Tommy) Russo, Erica Felmlee, Christopher Felmlee II, Amanda Felmlee, and Garrett Felmlee; treasured great-grandfather of ten and one on the way.   

Dick was a proud veteran who served his country in the United States Army. He was married to his beloved wife Karen for 47 years until her passing in 2018. Since then, his heart ached every day. He enjoyed bowling in his earlier years. He especially loved spending times outdoors by visiting parks, fishing, leisure drives, and being a self-appointed neighborhood watchman with his beloved dog Splinter by his side. During the summer, you could find him at the farmer’s market where he made many friends and enjoyed sharing his purchases with his family and friends. Dick was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
