Richard Joseph Sebacher, of Wentzville, MO, passed away Thursday, October 19, 2023 at the age of 89. Beloved of husband of the late Janet M. Sebacher; cherished son of the late Ralph and Gertrude Sebacher; devoted father of Susan Sebacher, Sandra (Rahnl) Wood, Richard J. (Suzanne) Sebacher, Jr. and Ruth (John) Dultz; loving grandfather of Jennifer (Nick) Travia, James R. (Amy) Jacobi, Joseph R. Jacobi, Katie Wood, Tristan (Lisa) Wood, Roy Sebacher, Thomas Sebacher, Sean Sebacher, Alexandra (Matt Frey) Dultz, Ethan Dultz and Margaret Dultz; treasured great-grandfather of Daniel, Jonah, Emma, Charleigh, Mason, Sebastian, Lincoln, and Hannah; dear brother of the late Lucille (the late Bill) Needham, Roland (the late Connie) Sebacher, Colette Sebacher, the late Loran (Bobbie) Sebacher, Ralph (Charalotte) Sebacher, Marcella (the late Ed) Hampp. 

Richard Sebacher earned a bachelor's degree in engineering, a testament to his intelligence and dedication to his field. But he was more than just a scholar; he was an avid tennis fan and player, displaying both finesse and sportsmanship on the court. 

Above all, Richard's heart belonged to his beloved wife, with whom he traversed the globe, exploring new places and sharing the wonders of the world together. Their love was a beacon of light that warmed the hearts of all who knew them. 

A proud father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Richard cherished his family above all else. His love and support for his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren knew no bounds. He reveled in the joy they brought into his life and celebrated their accomplishments with unwavering pride. 

Richard had a talent for working with his hands and a deep love for creativity. Whether he was building, painting, or crafting, he expressed his passion through his creations. His craftsmanship left a mark that will be cherished for generations to come. 

Richard proudly served in the Army and his dedication to his country led him to become a skilled helicopter mechanic during his service in Venezuela. 

Richard loved entertaining and hosting gatherings of friends and family. These moments of togetherness were filled with laughter and love. 

Memorials may be made in Richard's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Fr. Bob's Outreach.
