Richard W. Merkel of Florissant, MO, passed Monday, February 19, 2018 at the age of 59. Cherished son of Dorothy Merkel and the late William Merkel; dear brother of Danny (Flo) Merkel and Barbara (the late Michael) Luther and the late Linda Frazier. Treasured uncle of Anthony Merkel, Michelle Ball, Stacy Reed, and Jason Merkel; and loving great-uncle of 6.
Richard was very enthusiastic about electronics and new technology. He was also a Sci-Fi fan who enjoyed the classic films as well as TV shows Star Trek and Dr. Who. He enjoyed spending time with his family and creating lasting memories and stories. Richard was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
