Richard W. Tucker

December 28, 1942 — April 8, 2014

Tucker, Richard W., of Lake St. Louis, Missouri, died on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at the age of 71. Loving husband of Mary Sue Tucker; beloved son of the late Arthur and Bernice Tucker; devoted father of Kerrie (Paul) Thomason, Stacey (Brian) Monaco, Michael (Paula) Tucker, and Brian (Rebecca) Tucker; cherished grandfather of 13; and dear brother of Joan (Robert) Bielicke. Rich is also survived by many relatives and dear friends.
Rich was a very service oriented man. He started by proudly serving his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War, then went on to work as a volunteer firefighter and EMT in Cottleville for 20 years, and was a professional engineer for over 30 years. In recent years, he was honored to serve as an usher for his church, Morning Star Church of O'Fallon. Rich also enjoyed woodworking, gardening, reading, archery, sailing, and coaching for children's many sports teams. However, the most important things to him were his faith in Christ, his family, and his friends.
Memorials may be made to The Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration (AFTD).
