Richard Woemmel

Woemmel, Richard S., 78, of St. Charles, Missouri, Asleep in Jesus on Wednesday, October 12, 2011. Beloved husband of Deitt Woemmel (nee: Gudermuth) for 53 years; cherished father of Donna (John) Bauer, Mark (Connie) Woemmel, Rick (Theresa) Woemmel, and Wendy (Joe) Lumetta. Adoring grandfather of Kristina, Laura, Jason, Lisa, Kevin, Kaitlyn, Alyssa, Samantha, Madison and Nathan. Loving great-grandftaher of Kyli, Isaac, Jordan, Rhianna, and Dominic. Wonderful brother of Doris (nee: Woemmel) Bangert and devoted son-in-law of Audrey Grudermuth, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, friend and neighbor. Rich was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Pearl Woemmel, and his brother Robert Woemmel. Rich was a Plastering Contractor for many years, was the second generation owner of Woemmel Plastering Company, and a member of the Plasterers Local #3 for over 50 years. He enjoyed family and friends, fishing, and camping. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church or American Cancer Society.
