Rickey Louis Meier

Rickey Louis Meier, of Elsberry, MO, passed away Friday, June 3, 2022 at the age of 75. Loving husband of Cheryl Lynn Meier; beloved son of the late Edwin L. and Bernice L. Meier; devoted father of Sean Patrick (Robert) Jackson, Anilise (Scott) Stewart, Phillip (Stacey) Meier, Julie (John) Lankford, Kadi Meier, Tina Meier, and Melissa Meier; cherished grandfather of eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; dear brother of Terry (Bobbie) Meier.

Rickey was very proud of being a sheet metal worker. He was a part of the Sheet Metal Workers SMART Local Union No. 36.  Rickey proudly served his country in the United Sates Marines during Vietnam War. He was a member and very involved with Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #9064. Rickey was a part of the Lincoln County Marine Corp. League Detachment #1405. In his free time he liked to go trout fishing. He loved spending time outdoors and playing poker. He was very sociable and never met a stranger. He dearly loved his dog, Harvey. Rickey was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
