Rita was a nurse for 45 years and she worked in several different departments caring for many patients during her career. She was a talented artist as well, preferring to create pen and ink drawings and watercolor paintings. She had a dry and wicked sense of humor that she passed on to her children and grandchildren.
Rita’s faith in God was also a very important part of her life. She enjoyed volunteering with the Steven Ministry as well as teaching and attending many classes through her parish to help grow and share her faith with others.
While she enjoyed curling up with a good book or sampling caramel and pecan chocolates or mixing a cold Vodka-7 what she truly loved most of all was her family. She took much joy in spending time in their company. She was always had an ear to listen and gave exceptional advice. Rita will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
