Rita Rose Kasper

Rita Rose Kasper (nee Schnettgoecke) Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church passed away Sunday, January 9, 2022, at the age of 98. Rita was preceded in death by her husband, Edward. She is survived by her loving children Barbara Kasper, Patricia Kasper, Edward Kasper (Michelle), Karen Schmidt (George) and Kenneth Kasper (Lois) along with her beloved grandchildren Andrew Kasper (Sheli), Nicole Kasper, Nicholas Kasper, Amanda Kasper, Alex Kasper (Ahna), Derrick Schmidt and Daniel Schmidt as well as her beloved great grandson, Boston.

Rita was preceded in death by her loving parents August and Hilda Schnettgoecke as well as ten of her twelve siblings--Marie Burton, Hildegard Twillman, Henry Schnettgoecke, Bernard Schnettgoecke, Charles Schnettgoecke, Alvera Schnettgoecke, Dorothy Portwood, Arthur Schnettgoecke, Audrey Rasmussen and Joanne Schnettgoecke. She is survived by two sisters Gertrude Kirbach and Laverne Bird along with three sisters-in-law, Betty Schnettgoecke, Darla Schnettgoecke and Rose Schnettgoecke.

Rita was a beloved aunt, cousin and dear friend to many. She loved her family and friends and was always willing to help in any way that she could. She was an avid Cardinal baseball fan and she loved to play cards with her family and friends.
