He was born to Noble MacBeth and Johanna Rau Smith in St. Charles, MO May 26, 1948. His loving parents have preceded him in death. Mr. Smith was employed as a painter for 26 years by the Custom House LTD. He was a member of Boy Scout Troop Pack #975 and a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in St. Charles, MO. Mr. Smith is survived by his dear wife, Esther L. Bascom Smith of St. Charles, MO; 2 sons: Cort MacBeth Smith and Graham Alexander Bascom Smith both of Columbia, MO; a stepson: Michael Scott Magrew (Melissa) and 3 grandchildren: Andrew, Samantha and Dakota Magrew all of O'Fallon, MO; 2 brothers: Dr. John Alexander Smith of Birmingham, AL and Dan Noble Smith of St. Charles, MO; one sister: Jane Rau Smith Liscombe of St. Charles, MO; 2 nephews: Todd Robert Liscombe and Blake Smith Liscombe both of St. Charles, MO and a niece: Paige Claire Liscombe of St. Charles, MO.
