Robert Baumgartner

Robert Eugene Baumgartner, of Lake Saint Louis, MO, passed away Sunday, December 12, 2021 at the age of 86. Loving husband of June Baumgartner; beloved son of the late Eugene and Ruth Baumgartner; devoted father of Kevin (the late Kimberly) Baumgartner and Jill (James) Mahoney; cherished grandfather of Shawna Baumgartner, Brian (Brittany) Baumgartner, Patrick Mahoney, and Meaghan (Tyler) Goodwin; treasured great-grandfather of Wesley, Brenden, Mackenzie, and Noah. Robert is also preceded in death by his daughter, Diane Baumgartner and his brother, Kenneth (Lee) Baumgartner.

Robert proudly served his country in the United States Air National Guard. He loved the outdoors, whether he was hunting, fishing or hiking and taking in the scenery. Robert enjoyed trains and he worked for the railroad for many years. Robert was married to his beloved wife, June for 60 loving years. They enjoyed going on trips together and visited many national parks and Robert was very passionate about camping. He also loved to read all the time. Robert was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
